The iCloud Photos is a useful app to keeps all of your photos and videos automatically. With it, files can be loaded across different Apple devices so that users can access them quickly from iPhone, Mac, etc. However, some people find their iCloud failed to sync files as usual. iCloud Photos Not Syncing on iPhone/iPad

The iCloud Photos is an option you can find on your iPhone/iPad or other iOS devices. You can sync any photos and videos to iCloud by enabling this feature. However, it may go wrong and stop syncing your photos. How to fix iCloud photos not syncing on iPhone/iPad?

Check the Internet Connection

You should first go to check the internet connection when finding photos not uploading to iCloud.

Make sure iCloud Photos is enabled.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click on the username (the first option).
  3. Select iCould.
  4. Select Photos.
  5. Make sure iCloud Photos is On.

Enable Wi-Fi and cellular data for Photos:

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Scroll down to find Photos option.
  3. Access Wireless Data.
  4. Click on the Wireless Data.
  5. Select WLAN & Cellular Data.
  6. Make sure the Wi-Fi network you’ve connected to is stable and working or make sure the cellular data is enabled.

Check the iCloud Storage

You may find iCloud not syncing when the iCloud Storage is running out.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click on your username.
  3. Select iCould.
  4. Choose Manage Storage.

If you are running low on storage space, you should get more space by deleting some photos/videos or buy extra storage by clicking Change Storage Plan.

Turn Off Low Data Mode

Disable Low Data Mode for WLAN:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select WLAN.
  3. Click on the info button (looks like a lower-case I) next to the network you are using.
  4. Toggle the switch of Low Data Mode to Off.

Disable Low Data Mode for cellular data:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Cellular.
  3. Select Cellular Data Options.
  4. Toggle the switch of Low Data Mode to Off.

iCloud Photos Not Syncing to Mac/Windows 10

Check Apple ID

  1. Open Settings and click on the username on iPhone to know which Apple ID you are using.
  2. Open System Preference and click iCloud to check whether you are using the same Apple ID on Mac.
  3. Open iCloud app to check whether you are using the same Apple ID on Windows.

Enable iCloud Photo Library

Mac:

Navigate to System Preference -> select iCloud -> choose Options -> check iCloud Photo Library.

Windows:

Go to iCloud for Windows -> open iCloud -> select Photos -> choose Options -> check iCloud Photo Library.

Tip: Please make sure the iCloud for Windows is up to date.

Update iOS to the Latest Version
