Well, Chocapic13’s Shaders mod is truly unique among the shaders available now. The mod is not a stand-alone shader pack mod, but more alike a shader mod for an existing shader pack, the GLSL Shaders Mod, developed from daxnitro’s GLSL Shaders Mod and maintained by karyonix. A lot of people, of course, love to have a more realistic and believable look in their Minecraft worlds look more realistic, and there’re a few tools better for improving the world already filled with deep and beautiful shadows than the Chocapic13’s Shaders. Actually, some shader packs now, particularly the one mentioned and together with this mod added, render at about just 1/10 the vanilla Minecraft’s speed. Your FPS will suffer.
Basically, this means that you can expect for the crippled, slow frame rates unless you are already getting about 200 frames per second as playing Minecraft with no added graphics components. Optifine – another mod maximizing the performance by modifying many native Minecraft settings, is also recommended to use with this kind of mod. Notably, the Chocapic13’s Shaders mod comes with some beta versions to browse together with five different levels of the finished mod, including Low, Medium, High, Ultra, and Extreme.
